Hey everyone!
I am so lucky to have just finished my second semester with
Soren Bennick Productions' educational show, "The Power of One!"
Along with a partner (Jessica Fontaine in Fall 2009, and Andrew
Davies in Spring 2010), I was able to teach anti-bullying solutions
from a theatrical standpoint, enabling children by doing skits
and even getting the kids up on stage to act themselves!
The tour took me across all of NYC, Westchester, Long Island,
all reaches of New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and they even
flew me to Houston, TX for a bit! What a life altering experience,
doing 20 shows at 10 schools a week! Whew!
But never one to sit still long, you can catch me currently every
Sunday at noon at 13th Street Repertory in Manhattan as the
pigtailed narrator, Celia the Scarecrow in Wiseacre Farm! Come help
me, Babette the Cat, and O'Connor the Dog plan Cliffie the Pig's surprise
birthday party and scare the cake-stealing Fox away!
I'm also lucky enough to be part of a monthly performance series
with my good friend, playwright Jason Stuart. The endeavor is called
Saturdays in the Dark and is a raw, pulp theatre endeavor featuring
"plays, dramatic readings, and movement pieces steeped in gothic horror, science
fiction, psychological thriller, and good, old fashioned roman noir." It's a load of fun!
As you can see, my plate is pretty full, as always!! Thanks for visiting!
